Elvish Yadav hits back at Asim Riaz calling him “irrelevant”

Asim Riaz is causing a stir with his recent concert in Bangalore, where he made some provocative comments regarding Elvish Yadav’s journey in Bigg Boss OTT 2, drawing comparisons with his own and Sidharth Shukla’s experiences. Clips from the concert have surfaced online, with particular attention on Asim’s gesture of showing a middle finger after mentioning Elvish Yadav.

In response to this incident, Elvish Yadav went live on Instagram to offer his take on the matter. He criticized Asim, labeling him as “irrelevant” and accusing him of being a “clout chaser.”

The controversy began when Asim asserted during his concert that no one could replace him and Sidharth Shukla, not even the current Bigg Boss celebrities. When the audience cheered for Elvish, Asim took a jab at him by remarking that he frequently goes live to discuss his “numbers and followers.” Adding to the tension, Asim showed his middle finger while mentioning Elvish.

Elvish Yadav swiftly reacted to the situation on Instagram Live, stating, “He is irrelevant at the moment and is clout chasing after me. I try to stay away from controversy, but he is the one who started it all by abusing me in his concert. I’d appreciate it if he had the guts to do it to my face instead of on a live stream.”

While Elvish received support from many quarters, Asim’s fans rallied behind him as well. A Twitter user expressed embarrassment, saying, “This is so unnecessary; why is he even doing this… I’m embarrassed for him.” Another user, however, defended Asim, writing, “I can’t believe this… Anyway, Asim isn’t wrong; nobody can beat his journey.” One more user found humor in the situation, commenting, “This is funny… Why do people even do that?”

As a quick reminder, Asim Riaz was the first runner-up of Bigg Boss 13, while Elvish Yadav made history as the first wildcard contestant to clinch the Bigg Boss trophy in OTT season 2.
